I am so excited to be part of the Will Rogers Middle School team. This is my 5th year teaching in the classroom but have been working with youth in various settings for over 15 years. I am married and live in San Pedro with my husband of four years. We do not have children (yet) but are surrounded by lots of nieces, nephews and cousins as well as my 130+ students I get to see everyday. We love to travel and go to sporting events (Go SF Niners, LA Clippers, LA Kings, SF Giants). My passion for teaching Math stems from great math teachers growing up, therefore I know that Math may not come easy to everyone and it can definitely be challenging at times, but I ask just one thing: DO NOT GIVE UP!! By utilizing different techniques, breaking it down step by step, guided notes, interactive games, mathematical discussion, and making math fun I hope that students dislike math just a little less. Practice, practice, patience and practice.
